Prerequisites

  • Applicant must be at least 17 years of age for issuance of Private Pilot License
  • Applicant must hold a Class 2 Medical
  • Experience— Not less than 40 hrs of flight time as Pilot.
  • Medical Fitness— A certificate of physical fitness from an approved medical practitioner.
  • Educational Qualification— xth or equivalent Examination from a recognised Board.

  • Skill— Competency to perform the procedures and manoeuvres to the satisfaction of an Examiner, within a period of six months immediately preceding the date of application.

Course Details

To obtain a PPL License, every candidate must pass the DGCA PPL exams. These exams are held every month.

Candidates should prepare in the following subjects:

Stage 2: Flying Training ABROAD(12-15 months)

  • Flying training in US, SPAIN, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, PHILIPPINES & SOUTH AFRICA
  • Issue of FOREIGN CPL, Radio Licence and ELP Certificate level 4

Stage 3: Flying Test and Licence Conversion (1-2 months)

  • Flight Tests in India in DGCA Approved Flying Training Institute
  • Compilation of documents, paperwork and submission to DGCA
  • Issue of Indian CPL by DGCA
