Private Pilot License

Private Pilot License

A Private Pilot License (PPL) allows individuals to operate an aircraft for personal use, without pay. It provides essential knowledge and skills for future pilot training, enabling flights day and night in visual conditions. Requirements for a PPL are set by the International Civil Aviation Authority (ICAO) and vary by country. In India, private pilot courses are offered at various aviation schools and are shorter than Commercial Pilot License (CPL) programs, covering topics like flight fundamentals, check ride prep, traffic patterns, and emergency procedures.
